President Bush,

It has become extremely difficult to give you the benefit of the doubt on Lebanon, for you have left no doubt in our minds. We are now certain — like many of us have always been — that your foreign policy is completely biased towards Israel, and you have made no effort to hide this fact. Just out of curiosity: are they also drafted in Tel Aviv?

It is your choice, Mr Bush, to support Israel, just like it is our — the entire Arab and Muslim world's — choice to support Lebanon. You insist that Israel has the right to defend itself. Defending oneself, I believe, is a universal right, not exclusive to Israel.

"The first Qana massacre did not quench the Israeli thirst for blood," it is said, graphically describing yet another Israeli crime against the innocents of Lebanon. In Qana, 57 armless, defenseless civilians died in an Israeli air strike, 37 of them were children. Maybe these numbers don't matter to you, Mr Bush; they are mere numbers of the nameless Lebanese dead. But they matter to more than 200 million Arabs in the Middle East.

I quote our late president, Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who in 1973 had said, "Arab oil is not dearer than Arab blood." But it seems that Iraqi oil is dearer than American blood. I am somewhat relieved to arrive at this conclusion. At least there's no racism against a certain group of people. Everybody is a potential sacrifice to secure US interests, even if it means sacrificing a whole nation.

No, Mr Bush, we will not accept, nor will we allow the sacrifice of more Lebanese civilians. A ceasefire should have been enforced two weeks ago. Was there a need for 37 children to die before you decided it was time for a ceasefire? How many more, Mr Bush, should die before you decide to stop sending those bloody weapons to Israel? Perhaps we can afford a sacrifice that will rein in your generosity towards Israel permanently.

We have a dream for a new Middle East. Not the "New Middle East" that you've been brainstorming in your Oval Office. It is the new Middle East that Middle Easterners have been dreaming of; a Middle East with no violence, and no US-made weapons to fuel that violence. It is a dream only we, Middle Easterners, are allowed to dream and realise it.

In Arabic we have a saying that goes, "They murder the murdered and walk in his funeral." Allow me to interpret this for you, Mr Bush: Your precision-guided missiles shipment has arrived in Tel Aviv. These missiles will "precisely" fall onto Lebanese villages; kill hundreds; and displace thousands more. (Evidently, we've just witnessed the first "precise" target in Qana.)

Yet you have "compassionately" been able to send aid to Beirut, at the same time, with supplies for the thousands of people directly and fatally affected by your vocal, (im)moral and military support for Israel. Please include US flags in your aid shipment to Beirut; they must have burned all the US flags in stock.

Mr Bush, Lebanon can and will be rebuilt, but lost lives cannot be restored. Your credibility and your government's credibility have long been lost — irretrievably lost like those lost innocent lives. People will not forget this though. They will not turn the other cheek; they will retaliate — just like you had chosen to retaliate after 9/11. Retaliation is a value you have successfully promoted by putting it into practice, always.

I was born too late to see how the British Empire had collapsed, but right on time to see how the American Empire is falling apart. Mr Bush, You will surely be remembered in history for hastening that process.

Israeli invasion of Lebanon was planned over a year ago

Beirut, Lebanon - The sight of Blair greasily fawning up to Bush at the G8 Conference, asking Bush if he liked his jumper that he claimed to have knitted himself, while discussing delaying tactics for bringing peace to the Lebanon is something that will stay with me for a long time.

But frankly not as long as the images of broken, torn and twisted Lebanese children. The USA of course vetoed an UN Resolution calling for a ceasefire.

Blair lost the respect of the British people years ago, Kim Howells with his apparently lobotomy between visiting the Lebanon and criticising Israel and then arriving in Israel the next day and criticising the Lebanese resistance ensures that the Labour party itself will lose respect.

What is the difference between Olmert's invasion of the Lebanon and Saddam's invasion of Kuwait, very little in actual fact although it could be claimed Saddam had more justification. Israel's excuse for bringing death and destruction to the Lebanon seems to be centred on the arrest of two Israeli solders, the two soldiers were captured in Lebanese territory, in the area of Aïta Al-Chaab close to the border, whereas Israeli television indicated that they had been captured in Israeli territory.

Israel's second excuse that they were under attack by Hezbollah, but the reality is that there's no record of Hezbollah having attacked Israel BEFORE Israel had already illegally invaded the Lebanon. Hezbollah is described as a "terrorist" organisation but then again any organisation that opposes Israel's expansionist policies or the USA's oil imperialism are described as terrorists.

Hezbollah had of course already become a part of the democratic process holding 12 seats in the Lebanese Assembly, they were well on their way to accepting the political process rather than violence in solving their problems.

Israel also claims that they are enforcing UN Resolution 1559, which is a little rich because firstly they haven't complied themselves, they still occupy Sheba Farms but in any case Israel has ignored more resolutions than any country on earth, what on earth gives them the right to become an "enforcer"?

The fact is of course is that if Israel had a problem with the Lebanon they should have addressed those fears to the democratically elected government, if that didn’t bring success, addressed their fears through the United Nations. Instead they prefer to break International Law, and also with their action in the Lebanon they have compromised the Geneva Convention. The Israeli leaders are now war criminals.

The reality of course is that Israel wasn't reacting to immediate circumstances at all, the Jerusalem Post on the 12th July 2006, the same day as the two Israeli soldiers were arrested, let slip That Israeli reserve forces had been mobilised "weeks ago". It reported.

"Only weeks ago, an entire reserve division was drafted in order to train for an operation such as this." Well what a coincidence that is.

It gets worse, according to the San Francisco Chronicle this invasion of the Lebanon was planned over a year ago

Can there in fact be any doubt that what we are seeing in the Lebanon and the unleashing of Bush's attack dog, is an illegal invasion which was done totally with the prior agreement of Bush and his poodle?

Israel must be made to pay for the damage they have caused and pay compensation to their victims just as Iraq was in the case of Kuwait. The difficulty caused by the USA/Bolton being an instrument of sabotage as far as the UN goes can be overcome by the non Security Council members initiating an "Uniting for Peace" Resolution which essentially requires a two thirds majority in the UN and allowing the Security Council to be bypassed. We need International, not just personal, boycotts of Israeli produce and they should continue until the apartheid state is dismantled.

George Galloway is right. Israel, USA and Britain is losing in this war!
Now that the Muslim has the same opinion, same hatred toward Israel, USA and Britain, things would move in different momentum.
Just yesterday that there was a coordinated plot to bomb at least 10 airplanes over the Atlantic.
What the Israelis, Bush and Blair succeeded is fanning anger and hatred of Muslims all over the world.
You can expect more.

Its the Economy, Stupid!

See the recent spat between Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi administration and former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. Mahathir keeps at it, edging the current administration further and further into muck on decisions that he doesnt consider right.
Whats that left us?
It keep us from concentrating on the real agenda. The economy. We forgot that the unemployment is high, inflation is at the highest level in decades. Has your income increased lately?
Meanwhile Petronas reported the highest profit ever.
Anwar Ibrahim was right that we should keep an eye on the economy. He was telling its the economy! Stupid.
Tell you what I will give a simple solution.
Remember back in 92 when ASN give a whopping big dividend bonus to its shareholders?
Everyone who had big bonus then started spending. As a result the economy grew faster for the next few years.
To keep fire to the economy we could simply give every Malaysian dividend from Petronas money, straight into our account. so that every Malaysian have money to spend or invest as they see fit. At the same time we could open up some protected sectors to open competition. With every one having money, they could invest in housing, education etc. Then the economy would grow faster, reducing unemployment, increasing income to ordinary Malaysians. Opening up protected sectors to competition would keep check on inflation. And with the ringgit currently on managed float, a higher growth would result in higher exchange rate. So the ringgit is expected to go higher.

See that house with orange looking roof? Yeah two houses on one section. I live in the front one. My house, my garage all can be seen from space. How cool is that. The front double garage was still under construction, it wasnt up yet when this photo was taken, so it must have been in summer. About 6 month ago.

Windows Vista.

Last week I downloaded Windows Vista Beta 2, and today i at last managed to install it in a computer. Wow so bulky.
Took about 8GB of hard disk space. Being an old Dell 1Gb processor, it slow to a grinding rate. So many adition that I might not be using, like TV recording. Yes MCE, Windows Media Center Edition in in the Vista.
At that bulky rate, and difficulty of finding drivers for come components.. I am not sure if anyone want to install Vista in their computer.
