Its all come down to culture. In Dr Mohd Khir Toyo's mind, and in Selangor Govt executive council deliberations, its might be okay to give broom to their subordinates and colleagues. Well, what are they thinking?

The people of Majlis Daerah Hulu Langat are not happy much less Yang diPertua Majlis Daerah Tukiran Nail. "Rasa nak menangis", thats how they feel. Dont you feel the same? Its none of their fault in the first place. They have done their best, some even work on their off day to do their best for their state. But ratepayers dont pay, what they can do?

Most of the ratepayers in Hulu Langat District are big companies and big businesses. How many of them are residential ratepayers? When these big businesses doesnt pay, Majlis Daerah Hulu Langat would "sita" the property. So what the big businesses do? They appeal to Dr Mohd Khir Toyo's people to open it. So thing would go on as usual.

And then Selangor Govt of Mohd Khir Toyo had the temerity to embarass Majlis Daerah Hulu Langat for low collection rate?

Its about time someone publish the names of businesses who were delinquent in paying their 'cukai pintu'.

We people of Selangor sympathise with Tukiran Nail of Majlis Daerah Hulu Langat.

The Malays view that 'giving broom' as kurang sopan and penghinaan.

Do you still wonder why BN lose in Selangor?
